You should hear what they say!

Yesterday we took our microphone out in the centre of Cardiff. We wanted to find out what people down there thought about the Valleys.

You should have heard what they said! (Well, you'll be able to if you visit the Mythbusters van.)

One older lady admitted that although her husband had worked in the Valleys, she knew nothing about them and had never been there. A younger man suggested the Valleys were incredibly different from Cardiff.
"It's as if the deep South was only 50 minutes away from New York."

Here's where we went

While we're busy preparing the Myth Busters Story-collecting van, we decided to get out and about to find places we'd like to visit along the Ebbw Fawr.

There were lots of fascinating spots, where we'd like to park up and meet the interesting people who live and work there.

We'll be wanting stories from people. How about West Side Story?

Here's the route of our journey:

Graves and Graffiti

Are the myths true? Here's one for a starter.
Right up in the wilds above Brynithel we found this beautiful church.

And guess what - the church door has suffered from vandalism since 1948.

We're looking for stories - words, pictures, anything - that tell stories about the Valley.

Tell us - are the myths true? Are they false? If they're true, can we change them?

Myth Busters are coming....

It won't be long till the Myth Busters van hits the roads of Blaenau Gwent. We're busy preparing it now, and we'll be out and about to let you know more about what we'll be up to next week.
